Blade Runner (1982)

Blade Runner directed by Ridley Scott.
Deckard, a blade runner, has to track down and terminate 4 replicants who hijacked a ship in space and have returned to earth seeking their maker.

Blade runner is a great example of a big budget adult sci-fi film. With a very dark and bleak outlook on contemporary living in a 2019 set Los Angeles, Blade Runner delivers believable atmospheric environments with an entertaining story line and a very fitting ambient soundtrack... Composed by Vangelis.

I like the way the above Flash loop of Harrison Ford came out. It is only sixteen frames long and the file is only 150k big. Even though the smoke and the rain jump a bit, it looks almost as though Harrison's face was cut out and composited in the scene. This is the kind of loop that could be made in 1920 wide high definition (1080p) format and it would still be a relatively small size for web display... That's interesting!

The sound effects for this post were made using Flash. It is composed of three looped tracks, two are encoded at 128 kbps and one at 96. Two are set to play randomly over a constant third. I'll leave it up for a day or two.
